Merkaz has one of the most innovative high school academic programs available. Our emphasis on individuality allows a girl to be in one grade in a particular subject and accelerate into another should her abilities dictate.

Our core curriculum not only includes all New York State required courses but a variety of business, creative and elective courses as well. Merkaz is a New York State Board of Regents registered school, a member of the National Honors Society and accredited by the prestigious Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Merkaz students rank among the top in academic achievement and many are scholarship winners. We also offer our students the opportunity to earn college credit by offering courses in conjunction with renown colleges and universities.
