This course is an elective which teaches students the basic techniques of oral presentation. Emphasis is placed on effective public speaking, with particular focus on organization of material, physical presentation and principles of debate. Interviewing skills are also reviewed. It helps students develop the fine points of oral communication and instills in them the self confidence to express themselves in a public forum.
